Strategize Your Film Festival Run

This workshop will give filmmakers tools to strategize an effective film festival run. We will discuss goals, festivals to apply to and why, communication with programmers, press and networking. Entering your film festival run with a thorough understanding of how the the circuit works and how programmers will view and potentially accept your work gives filmmakers an advantage. Film festival strategy should be a very active process. As both a filmmaker and film curator, Victoria has learned effective strategies on how to succeed with realistic, forward-moving goals on the festival circuit.
